the month of graduation & everybody's buzzing. The weather is amazingly beautiful around Ipswich - temperatures regulating between 70 - 80 degrees. Rain is moderate - on and off, and the sun tends to peek behind the clouds and mountains once in a while.

• HOLIDAYS! They're coming up. The seniors are graduating, and hopefully all are passing their classes. The last assignments are being turned in, and the teacher's are a buzz with getting all the notes gathered. Not only that, but the graduation ceremony is being planned by the Headmistress herself!
• As a tradition for the past years - all the students are allowed to travel outside of Ipswich to visit their family, or just stay within the town - for the dorm rooms shall be accessible to them for the entire three months of their vacation. The school shall be closed up in order to keep from any mischief from happening - but since the stables are close to the dorm rooms - you still have a chance to see your dragons, phoenixes & griffins.
This an experiment. Work with me here. Jolts are basically plot-happenings. Like, what's going on within the town of the Academy, or even the University to get the In Character threads rolling. Thus, what is posted within this box, happens site wide and effects all characters. If you have any questions, PM me.

Alice held him up for a few moments longer, soon to smell another being in the vicinity. For a fallen angel, she had good perceptive skills. Sniffing the air and closing her eyes, she looked in the direction of the vampire. The female was obviously weak, and her aura showed it. It was weak, and she needed blood. Looking down at Den, she figured he was one source, but she didn't want to deal with a vampire in her weakened state. Reaching into her boot, she pulled out a decent sized glass that was full of blood. Odd, she knew, but she came prepared when dealing with any kind of creature. Shaking up the glass, she tossed it in the direction of the woman, the bottle rolling across the ground hitting the trunk and rolling back a few inches. "Take it. I know it's not a lot but it will do for now. That way you can hang around, that is if you wish," she smiled, slightly shocked at her friendly personality.
Making sure Den was good, she helped him stand up. Hardly did she ever help anyone, but only reason being that she saved him, was that he was from her clique. She couldn't let people like her go. Smiling, she held her hand up into the sky, causing the temperature to warm up, but only a bit, being she loved the cold. Giggling, she took out a mirror, and made sure she looked okay. She may have not done much, but she loved to make sure she looked okay to her standards.

Meota was in a tree watching them she could easily disregard her scent and presence, but decided not to because it'd be interesting to see the reactions. Around this time of year your wore a kimono. It was white with black undercloth and a black sill tie around her. The sleeves were longer than her arms and the lenth was just long enough to cover her feet. On accasions depending on wheather or mood meota's eyes or hair would change it was snow pure white and it was short just a few inches below her ears but not too close ot her shoulders.
Meota sat there growing tired even though she wanted to hang around den it was best not to distract or interfere with him when she was thirsty or sleep. She had two senarios of might happened if she did make contact with him. she would ask for his blood from being so weak and he might say yes and then later she would hate herself and then she might lay on him and in her sleep say something embrassing like how she truelly felt about him or something embrasing about what he meant to her. None which she would admitt.
Meota wasn't carrying around her vilin but she was carrying around momo and her little white kitten keira meota dozed off and arm falling of the large limb and into sight . momo was aslleep nex to her head while little keria jumped around and headed down the tree to play around on the ground.

Alice stood, her clothes keeping her warm, and as much as she loved the cold, there was a point in which she couldn't handle it. A Fred Flare Pleated Houndstooth Victoria Coat, which looked fantastic on her, with her black skinny jeans, which didn't make her cold for once, and her black faux fur mukluk Indian moccasin snow boots, which completed her outfit perfectly. She hadn't been at the lake before, but now was as good as any other time. Sighing softly, she giggled after she saw her breath. The air was becoming cold, and cold enough for snow.
A cold breeze brushed past her blowing her hair as if in a movie and some cute scene would come after, but that didn't seem to be the case. Breathing out deeply, snow began to fall. It was thick and seemed to be able to take any kind of fire out with a few flakes. Walking a bit, she spotted a friend of hers. Den? He seemed to have issues with the snow, and the cold. Then all of a sudden she watched him plunge in the water. Surprised that he would do such a thing, she ran over to the lake. Scanning over the lake, she realized that he couldn't get out. The snow packed itself on top of the lake, and continued to do so.
Flipping her hand the snow began to fade and disappear. Alice began walking on top of the water as she froze it, then she pulled up her sleeve, and dipped her hand in the water reaching for Den and pulling him out. She was not thrilled that there was water on her outfit now, but as long as Den was okay, it was worth it, for now. She held him up and led him back to the beach. "So," she paused, not really knowing how to go about talking to him, but then asked, "you okay?"

It had been awhile. A long while since the blue wizard had been on the beaches of Elixir Lake. A title he gave himself. Dendasu's hair and choice of clothing, it seemed appropriate. A rather cold day, in November. And cloudy. He could see his breath, and hoped it didn't rain. Dendasu loved rain, just not in the cold. The water, which he touched to see if it was warm. Nope.
It was cold but didn't freeze? He conjured a small flame to keep away the cold. Dendasu grabbed his shoulders, covered in his blue robes. His hair tied up in a ponytail thrown over his right shoulder. The clouds overhead began to let loose a white downfall. Flakes touched his shoulders, hair and face.
He blinked twice, and watched as the white flakes kill his own fire. Odd. It was enchanted, and woven by a spell. Dendasu looked up. He snapped his fingers, forming a new wisp of fire. And watched as it died shortly. His body felt heavy. Eyes, feeling heavy. He was stumbling towards the water. The wizard tried another attempt at driving away the snow with a barrier.
It worked for a moment until the snow's weight broke the magic gathered. Dark. Something dark. His knees buckled and Dendasu fell into the Lake. A giant splash washed away the snow. His nerves screamed and he became alert. The warmth that he tried to keep washed away. The snow laid on top of the surface like a wall. It wouldn't melt.
He held his palm up to the surface, "Panic!" he muttered through the water. Letting off a small puff of orange that exploded like fireworks over the lake. And then died down quickly. Like ice, his hands weren't able to break through the water surface. All he could do was breath, a minor spell, any longer and he would catch hypothermia. But this snow? Who caused it? It hadn't melted.

Meota looked at the deserted area violin case in hand cat on her shoulder she stopped at this area. Meota was only half vampire meaning even with her hybrid bloodline she only had half the power a normal flokui would have...which is a lot. Meota had a history the territory and the desire but something kept getting in her way from connecting with anyone. There were few she could call friends with her lack of strength her family didn't like her except her loyal brother john and her cat who had a few tricks up his sleeves of fur.
She was the lost ball of the family unwanted and unused. She pulled out her violin and began to play it. It was a melody her mother use to sing to her. It was strange, she could remember things like her mother singing things and a former lover but she can't remember things like what her favorite color use to be and such. Odd she doesn't even remember how she knows how to play the violin. Meota enjoyed company around these times when she was confused and felt lost, Friend or not. Momo was chasing a dragonfly and was in sync with the rhythm of the song with his jumps though she doubt he realized he was doing that on purpose.
Meota heard something from behind her heading her way who knew it could be friendly or agressive eaither way whoever it is was coming towards the sound of her violin.

Home *Plot * Rules * Canon Lists*Advert Board* It was never really a question of when... The year is 2579 and all is well or at least that was the way that it seemed. The delicate balance between the wizarding world and muggles that has existed for centuries is about to be tipped. This of course is nothing that the wizards want or for that matter expect. They want nothing to do with the muggles and their petty wars. The Wizarding World as a whole still thinks that things are much better off the way they've always been and even if they weren't that wouldn't matter. At the moment they have problems of their own to deal with the most important one being an uprising of werewolves. Although they never really expected that to become the muggles problem more then it usually did.
But more so a question of how... It was that day that a young werewolf by the name of Dylan Harper lead a pack of his fellow werewolves into a muggle city and wreaked havoc as they pleased. Harper along with a few of his pack escaped but the rest were left to be dealt with by the Ministry. It was all very well and good or at least that was how it seemed. It all seemed like the Ministry was dealing with the usual events of a few bitten. All was not as it seemed though. What was out of the ordinary in this case? The fact that a muggle cameraman had caught it all on camera. That they could have dealt with. What they couldn't deal with? That it was broadcast live across all of Britain and from there all over the world.
And just what the muggles would do in turn. The Wizarding World was in no way ready to deal with this. There was no way they could wipe everyone's memory on the face of the earth and they were forced to expose themselves. The backlash was immense at first as witch hunts became common practice and wizards were left with few hiding places. Harper, still alive, took advantage of the chaos and continue to breed fear amongst the muggles. It wasn't until twenty years later that the newly elected Minister of Magic Thomas Blake managed to broker a verbal agreement that allowed them to co-exist with the muggles. From there Blake managed to launch his talks into a combined government. His progression in the U.K. spread worldwide and he was selected as the over all leader for this new government in 2600. All seemed calm
But most importantly? Just what the fall out would be The year now though is 2626 and all is not calm. Dylan Harper has passed and his son Oliver has taken over leadership of the pack, his motives unclear. The Ministry of Magic, along with the muggle government, is becoming more and more of a joke as the days go by. The newest Minister, Harlot Von Cannon, has no stomach for it. To top it all off though is the fact that Vasoli Crucio, the crazed murder, is being heard less and less of. While most would mark this as a good thing it, is to say the least far from it. Vasoli's reputation makes his current actions seem as if trouble is brewing. How is Blake dealing with all this? That has yet to be seen but his current policies and actions in office make it seem as if the world's hero is anything but that. His concern for the likes of Harper and Vasoli now seem non-existent and the question is just what will happen next. The year is 2626 and I'm afraid that this may be...

Be good and don’t ever talk to strangers. Its what you were always told. easy, simple. This time,things aren’t what they seem. People are going missing and the fear is setting in. What happens when the shadows come alive. And the things we used to think were scary storie. Come out to play?
Ladysmith has always been safe. Everyone knew everyone. It was that small town that everyone dreamed about and for the residents there, life was good. Sure, the kids wanted to get out and refused to be small town lifers, so they rebelled and acted out. But never anything the parents and authority figures couldn't handle. Turns out, the teenage angst was the least of their worries. With murders, disappearances and panic weighing heavy on everyone, the serenity of the place has been shattered. The town council is trying to keep it under wraps, but others are pushing for declaring a state of emergency. With only tourism keeping this place going, for the people invested in it, thats not an option. Despite the disappearances and whispers of things that shouldn't exist, life is continuing on as best it can. No one is sure who will be next or if the missing will ever be seen again. It's not safe to go out a night but the people of Ladysmith are getting restless and the curfew isn't working as well as it could. Will you play it safe and survive or will you be one of the ones who take the chance instead of being scared into hiding? People have lives to live but some aren't willing to take the chance. The only thing we know for sure is that something, or someone is out there. Maybe more then one. Hunting us, predator and prey. What will happen to you?
Crestlayne Peaks, Ireland—a beautiful place located near the Celtic shores of the island. The perfect idea of a vacation where the food is great, the shops are open just about 24/7 and the residents are friendly. The Peaks is a peaceful town where not much happens, other than some traditional festivals. A lazy town where you can grow up and age old serenely without worry. Well, it used to be, anyway.
After the death of their evil ruler Rowena, the first vampire, the remaining vampires eventually agreed (though there were definitely some protests) that with so much damage done, the humans could not continue on with this information. Thus, all mortals of Ireland had their memories wiped clean of ever knowing the existence of vampires, though they were still referred to as myths and stories. Ireland's vampires made a pact to follow specific rules in order to live amongst humans, and tranquility finally found its way back to the Peaks.
The vampiric community is looked over by two elder vampires, while although there is a treaty, some of the dark creatures have taken different perspectives of the situations. Draelmy, Ashvor and Estale vampires now live in Crestlayne Peaks in secret, posing as normal humans during the day, and stalking the forests at night. Though tension still lingers, everything is finally calming down. That is until they found the dead body...
Accusations are flying wildly as vampires blame one another for the death of the human. The Elders (who even do unspeakable acts) are not sure where to point their own fingers, and many friendships and alliances are being broken and loss. While bloodsuckers fret over their discovery once again, the humans, meanwhile, try to solve the strange case. Who is the killer? Will they strike again? And will the cord of peace break under the pressure of everything?
So many questions, and yet so little time. Things are getting pretty toothy around here, and that's just an understatement. But maybe the answers lie under the noses of some...?
